Tough Questions For Christians

Here's a good one: "How were Adam and Eve supposed to distinguish between good and evil acts if they didn't understand the concepts until they ate the fruit?"

Answers on a postcard, please...

Perhaps God was enjoying watching them romp around innocently nude, and threw a strop when they "...knew that they were naked... and made themselves aprons" [Gen 3:7]. Well, that would make as much sense as anything else...

Good point. And if "God had so much love for us that he sent his son to earth to die for us..." Couldn't he have just forgiven Adam & Even in the first place? What kind of nutjob bears a grudge against the human race for ~4,000 years, and then lets us "kill" (but not really) his own son as His sole sign of forgiveness?

"Aprons" is used in Genesis 3:7 in the ASV, Derby, WBS and good ol' KJV translations.
